I don't know if I'll get one but its adorable. It would pair nicely with my A-168W-1

How awfully impractical.

I was thinking the opposite: Seems useful. I need my other hand free to look at my watch when I'm wearing a coat, in order to pull back the sleeve.

You'd hate my (functional!) watch cufflinks then.

Yeah, but I'd say it's more of a fashion statement

a ring? meh. what made the F-91W cool is nostalgia for genx chess clubs and terrorism. i don't see how this captures that.
I've often said I wanted to buy Atari and rebuild it as a proper luxury brand starting with a phone, but without something vulgar like gucci group would do, or the abomination that vertu became. Casio could make modern stuff and position itself as a similar heritage brand, they're basically the royal enfield of electronics. something cheap and cheerful from the past that has persisted and define a lot of memories for people. glad they're trying stuff, but they need to hire marketing/product designers from behringer, teenage enginnering, etc. casio needs a wes anderson makeover to make them relevant now.
