This is fascinating, they're linked to the Arbutus Foundation (founded by David Byrne) which reported almost $850k in revenue in 2023. Seems like quite a few of big donors are involved. It takes about 5 acres of native grassland per head of cattle. So a very small fraction of the beef we consume is raised this way.
