Low rates all seem to be high-education and well-paid: software, engineers, scientists, dentists. High rates are mostly low-paid, high-stress, and/or require travel: factory, nurses, drivers.
It's very interesting to see that Actuaries have the lowest divorce rates. Marriage seems to be based more on a good estimation of the partner than whims of liking.
My gut says that the occupations with the higher incidence of divorce are ones that have lower educational/qualification thresholds and in which people may be likely to marry when they are younger. It would be interesting to know if this is backed up by data.
Math nerds make devoted spouses. Is it a spectrum thing?
